Our Services Focused

A manning company is greatly involved with the management of its number one resource, its people. For BSSC, seafarers, as well as our principals both, serve as our customers. Our company is the bridge that connects both to achieve customer satisfaction in a win-win situation. Our principals set the requirements they need for their fleets and BSSC, through a proper screening process, evaluates seafarers from its pool of applicants. Selected seafarers are examined using STCW questions and then pass through a series of interviews including with the President himself. Pre-employment Medical Examination (PEME) is also administered to ensure the physical and mental fitness of the seafarer.

BSSC develops its seafarers to be compatible with our principals’ fleets. Deployment is done on a rotation basis to maintain the principals’ assurance of continued employment, a progression of careers, and higher productivity.

All seafarers undergo required trainings, assessments, and seminars prior to boarding their respective vessels. This is in compliance with the mandatory requirements under STCW as well as with the industry and the government.
